Kellee Weinhold, founder of Trillium Creek Studios, has nearly 20 years of experience as an editor and more than 10 as a journalism professor, mosty recently at the University of Illinois.

She is the creator of The Tongue Untied, an extensive grammar Web site recognized as one of the premier education sites on the Web.

As a professor, Weinhold was recognized with the Jonathan Marshall Award for Innovative Teaching in Journalism and Communication at the School of Journalism at the University of Oregon.

The students she has worked with have gone on to be published in and work for literary journals, magazines and newspapers throughout the world.

Weinhold is also an active writer. Currently, she is working on a series of essays that examine the effect of murder on families of victims. Read her recent narrative nonfiction at Etude

Dr. Karen L. Kelsky, academic writing specialist, academic professionalization and job market trainer, has 20 years of experience in academia, the last five as a department head of a Ph.D.-granting department in the humanities at the University of Illinois.

She has been leading professional writing, grant-writing, c.v.-preparation, professionalization, and job search workshops for graduate students in the humanities for 15 years.

The students she has trained have a close to 100% success rate in major national and international grants, including Fulbright, Fulbright-Hays, Japan Foundation, Social Science Research Council, etc., with many of them ultimately winning over $100,000 in grant money for their graduate research.

Participants in her seminars have acquired tenure-track positions at research universities around the country in times of a shrinking job market.
